Madagascar 3 - 3D (orig) (2012) - Tinon elokuvablogi

Alex-leijona, Marty-seepra, virtahepo Gloria ja kirahvi Melman yrittävät edelleen kaikkensa päästäkseen takaisin kotiin rakkaaseen Isoon omenaansa. Mukana seikkailussa ovat tietenkin myös Kuningas Julien, Maurice ja pingviinit. Matka vie heidät läpi Euroopan, jossa he löytävät täydellisen piilon: kiertävän sirkuksen. Kaverukset panevat sirkuksen täysin uusiksi – Madagascarin tyyliin.

Madagaskar 3 ei onnistu muussa kuin metelissä ja 3D-sirkuskohtauksissa. Tavallaan tarina on oikeutettu, jotta päähenkilöt saadaan kotiutettua maailmalta, mutta muuten turha, meluava ja järjetön sekoilu. Elokuva toimii varmaan hyvin lapsille, mutta aikuiskatsojalle sillä on melko vähän annettavaa. Ja lisäksi jos elökuvan opetuksena on, että eläinten on parempi olla sirkuksessa, kuin eläintarhassa niin viesti on mielestäni väärä lapsille. Eläinten paikka on siellä minne ne kuuluu. Luonnossa, ei eläintarhassa sen paremmin kuin sirkuksessakaan. Tarina on yhtä sekoilua ja hirveää sähläilyä ja meteliä. Kyllä joukkoon muutama hauskakin hetki mahtuu, mutta melkoisen turha jatko-osa tämä on. Ekassa elokuvassa oli ihan hauskoja musiikkikohtauksia, mutta nyt ne lähes loistavat poissaolollaan. Ehkä lapsille hauska ja värikäs seikkailu, mutta siinä kaikki. 3D toimii, niinkuin yleensäkkin näissä animaatioissa, mutta kuva olisi saanut olla laajakangas-kuva.

Alex, Marty, Gloria and Melman are still trying to get back to the Big Apple and their beloved Central Park zoo, but first they need to find the penguins. When they travel to Monte Carlo, they attract the attention of Animal Control after gate crashing a party and are joined by the penguins, King Julian and Co., and the monkeys. How do a lion, zebra, hippo, giraffe, four penguins, two monkeys, three lemurs travel through Europe without attracting attention and get back to New York? They join a traveling circus. Their attempts to get back to New York are consistently hampered by the Captain of Animal Control who wants to make Alex part of her collection. Once they make it back to New York Marty, Alex, Gloria and Melman realize that they want to be part of the traveling circus.

Madagaskar 3 doesn’t work. Too much noise and too much bumble around. Maybe it is fine for childrens, but there is not much to offer for adult viewer. And if the story tells for childrens that it is better for animals to be in circus than in zoo it’s wrong. Animals shoud be there where they belong… nature. Story is just messing around and very noisy. It has some of it’s monents, but mostly this sequel is pointless. 3D works fine as usually in these animation movies but thats all. Mabye fun for childrens but not for me. In the first movie there was a lot of funny music scenes, but now almost none. Hopefully this is the last movie in this serie.
