The Monuments Men is nicely different war movie. Even it shows all the suffering of men at war zone, it is nice to see how easily you identify for characters. Germans are shown very plain and lame, as extremely bad guys. Middle aged art specialist fiddles at battlefront is fun to watch, even the movie jumps between comedy and dark drama too fast at time to time. Biggest problem of the movie is it’s editing and illogical timing. The Monuments men jumps oddly from character to another, like the story has put together at the wrong order. If might had been thought very carefully, but somehow it feels illogical. You could approach important story strongly and more grievously, but after all movie is quite fun and adult.
