Morning glory

Kun ahkera tv-tuottaja Becky Fuller (Rachel McAdams) saa potkut uutisohjelmastaan, hänen uransa alkaa näyttää yhtä ankealta kuin hänen onneton rakkauselämänsäkin. Komedia on aina vaikea elokuvanlaji. En koskaan ole tykännyt sellaisista järjettömistä komedioista missä Jim Carrey vääntelee rumaa naamaansa ja on muka hauska. Tai Ben Stiller viljelee pikkutuhmia vitsejä vakavalla naamalla ja odottaa meidän nauravan sille. Pidän kyllä komedioista kun ne on hyvin tehtyjä. Tässä on paljon hyvää tavaraa oikealla paikalla. Hyvät näyttelijät, hauskaa tilannekomediaa arkisista asioista ja ihmissuhteista. Kaikki millä on hyvät edellytykset onnistua ja kyllähän Morning glory onnistuukin keskinkertaista paremmin. Ei tämä ihan Priscilla-aavikon kuningatar tasolle yllä, mutta kyllä tästä hyvät naurut saa aikaan. Becky (Rachel McAdams) is a hard-working morning TV show producer, or at least she was until she got fired. Comedy is always a difficult type of movie. I’ve never liked such absurd comedies in which Jim Carrey pervert ugly his face is nice and funny. Or Ben Stiller cultivates Raunchy jokes with a straight face and expect us to laugh at it. I do like comedies when they are well-made. This is a lot of good stuff in the right spot. Good cast, a fun situation comedy about everyday things and relationships. All of which is well placed to succeed And after all, Morning glory succeeds mediocre better. This is not exactly the Priscilla Queen of the desert at a level above, but you can see a good laugh can do. Wonderful veteran actors Harrison Ford’s leadership will make this enjoyable to watch, and when there is still a backdrop to the New York spectacular scenery, at least I’m sold.
