Free ClipartTim Burton jatkaa yhteistyötä Johnny Deppin kanssa tuomalla kulttimainetta nauttivan goottitelevisiosarjan elokuvaksi.

Dark Shadows on Tim Burtonin vampyyrifantasiadraama, jossa Johnny Deppin esittämä Barnabas Collins on vuonna 1772 menestynyt liike- ja naistenmies, kunnes tekee elämänsä virheen särkiessään väärän naisen sydämen.

Muutenkin koko tarina on melkoinen sekamelska epämääräisiä kohtauksia.

ClipartIn the year 1752, Joshua and Naomi Collins, with young son Barnabas, set sail from Liverpool, England to start a new life in America. But even an ocean was not enough to escape the mysterious curse that has plagued their family. Two decades pass and Barnabas (Johnny Depp) has the world at his feet-or at least the town of Collinsport, Maine. The master of Collinwood Manor, Barnabas is rich, powerful and an inveterate playboy…until he makes the grave mistake of breaking the heart of Angelique Bouchard (Eva Green). A witch, in every sense of the word, Angelique dooms him to a fate worse than death: turning him into a vampire, and then burying him alive. Two centuries later, Barnabas is inadvertently freed from his tomb and emerges into the very changed world of 1972. He returns to Collinwood Manor to find that his once-grand estate has fallen into ruin. The dysfunctional remnants of the Collins family have fared little better, each harboring their own dark secrets. Matriarch Elizabeth.

In general, these Burton- Depp accomplishments are great , but Dark Shadows left untouched. Visually, the film is brilliant and guaranteed by Tim Burton, but the story itself is either bumping and boring and not even very funny. Now, probably the most dedicated fans of Burton- transmitting deadly thoughts, but I can do nothing . The film will chuckle a few times , but that’s all . Anyway, the whole story is quite a vague jumble of scenes. I did expect a lot better than what I got. I do not know it is due to the fact that the original story is unknown to me or what, but the film will start in mid forcibly keeping an eye on the clock and hope for the end of the movie . The film is visually handsome, but extremely hollow. None of the role of the characters did not quite convince , and this also suorituskin Depp falls short of many with glorious role of the characters . I wonder if the reason the film rather weak script . Does notice Depp and Burton co-operation to be pulling the final moments , too bad in itself. The best thing about the movie was the upcoming Prometheus movie trailer for the film at the beginning , sorry but this doesn’t work : (
